We've always been a pharmacy first — the kind of place where the pharmacist knows your name and your prescription history. That's not changing. What's changing is everything around it.

Most drugstores split into two worlds: a pharmacy counter in the back, and a front-of-store full of sugared drinks, endless OTC medications, and an aisle full of greeting cards. We didn't think that made sense. If we're already the place you trust with your medications, we should also be the place you trust to help you need fewer of them.

So we rebuilt our front-of-store into a real health and wellness market: pharmacist-vetted vitamins and supplements, better-for-you snacks and real foods, homeopathic remedies, essential oils, and services like red light therapy and InBody body composition scans. And because health is something a community builds together — not something you figure out alone — we run wellness classes right here in the store, taught by people who know the science, not just the sales pitch.

Same pharmacy. Same trust. A lot more reasons to walk through the door.

Shoutout to Ashley Debusk, our Pharmacist in Charge at Laurel Family Drug in Damascus, VA. After 8+ years in grocery store pharmacy, Ashley took a leap into independent pharmacy — and the learning curve from big-chain to small-town, mom-and-pop is no joke.
