We use the proceeds from sales to benefit the community in a variety of ways, such as education, scholarships, supporting local nonprofits, and more. For those who have not discovered the treasure that is the King Street Thrift Shop, it has a wide selection of well-known brands of children’s, women’s, and men’s clothing, china, glassware, jewelry, children’s toys, and many other treasures. g Street Church Thrift Shop is run by the Women’s Society of King Street United Church of Christ. It is located in the church basement at 201 South King St. Proceeds go to many different outreach efforts in both the church and the wider community. There is a big selection of women's sweaters, slacks, dresses, plus men's suits, shirts, and slacks. Check out too the racks of
children's clothes including shoes and boots. There is also a wonderful selection
of plates, glasses, and mugs, a children's toy area, and housewares. Offerings are constantly changing, so stop in often.

We love our customers and we are grateful for all your kind donations. However, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not leave donations outside the door when we are closed. They get ruined, we have to dispose of them, and your kindness is wasted.
