IMPORTANT!

The Authors' Patch Bookstore and Forget-Me-Nots will be closing today, June 17th, at 2:00 due to incoming storms. Be safe! We will re-open at 10:00 Thursday.

Does anyone have a rental in Danville. I've posted that my daughter and her family lost everything in a house fire. Red cross is telling them if they find a rental, they can help them immediately. Any rentals or Airbnb in Danville. Please call if you have anything. 317-306-9844.

Dear Reading Family, my daughter Josie (she makes the jewelry at the store), her fiancé Alex, and father-in-law Clint had a devastating fire in their home in Ladoga. Lightning struck their house and it hit a gas line. They lost everything, including their 2 precious cats. The house is a total loss and the only possessions they have are cell phones and car keys. Even the clothes on their backs were gifted.

Janis will be at the store during the next week while I focus on my family and helping them figure out how to move forward. The cats were the hardest loss. If you reach out to me and do not get a reply, I apologize but right now I simply cant worry about anything but them.

Many have asked what they need and how to donate. They've been given a lot of clothes and are trying to go through them. They do not need any more clothes. We are waiting on Insurance and Red Cross, but due to the severe weather and damage from the storms, its a longer wait. They do have a $5000 deductible.

If anyone would like to donate, I will include there venmo and cash app. If you'd like to do gift cards, they can be dropped off at the bookstore. Of all things you can do, I ask that you pray for them. Prayer is the only thing that will get them through this.
