UPDATE: The Verizon website is indicating that service has been restored in our area as of 10AM (Tuesday, 10/13). If you are still having issues, try toggling ON Airplane mode, then turning it back OFF, to reset your cell tower connections.

PSA: VERIZON CUSTOMERS, YOU'RE NOT ALONE!

If your phone has been acting up today, it's likely not your device. Verizon is reporting a network issue in our area, and we're seeing it firsthand at Marlow Services.

- Dropped calls
- Phones stuck in SOS mode
- Extremely slow data

Verizon's website estimates service will be restored tomorrow morning (10/13) around 8:18 AM. We don't know what caused it, and so far it only seems to be affecting customers with Verizon or carriers that use Verizon towers (Xfinity, Visible, StraightTalk, Total Wireless, Spectrum, Tracfone).

A few tips while you wait:
✅ Connect to Wi-Fi for calls, texts, and data. Most phones support Wi-Fi calling, which can keep you connected when cellular is down.
✅ Don't panic if you see SOS. It just means your phone can't reach your carrier's network right now.
✅ Restarting your phone or toggling airplane mode won't hurt, but if the outage is on Verizon's end, it may not help until service is restored.
✅ You can check Verizon's outage page for updates.

🎮 WAIT… MARLOW SERVICES DOES THAT?! 🎮

Yes! We repair gaming consoles, too!

If your PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch isn’t working like it should, don’t assume it’s game over.

We work on a variety of hardware issues, including:

- HDMI port repair
- Power & charging issues
- Internal cleaning & maintenance
- Other hardware-related problems

And some of these repairs involve some seriously tiny work!

Check out the pictures of Sierra microsoldering an HDMI port under a microscope—along with an up-close look of the port. 🔬👀 When components are this small, precision matters.

So before you replace that expensive console, bring it by Marlow Services and let us take a look.

Phones. Tablets. Tech Gear. Gaming Consoles.
Turns out, we do a LOT more than you might think.😉
