Danville Office Equipment was proud to donate a chair to Rockcastle County Schools for Dr. Ballinger’s District-Wide Professional Development Day!
The chair was given to a deserving teacher as a small way to show our appreciation for the educators who work hard every day to make a difference in our students’ lives.

So today was a big day! I have sold D.O.E. and will be retiring. After 34 years (the last 12 as owner) I will be starting the next chapter in life… and who knows what that will be. I feel sure the good man upstairs has it all mapped out for me. I will forever be indebted to Ted and Betty Baker for giving me the opportunity to come on board at D.O.E. They have been very good to me over the years. I could never thank them enough. Next, a huge shout out to all the wonderful employees that have been so dedicated over the years. They are the best! They are indeed like my second family and we’ve been through a lot of good as well as challenging times together. Then, I must say a HUGE thank you to the many loyal customers that have supported D.O.E. not just during my tenure. We will be celebrating our 75th anniversary in August. This doesn’t happen without customers that believe in you and trust you to provide the best product and service they deserve. Also, I would like to thank Jana for standing by me and letting me vent when I didn’t think things were going the way I thought they should! She got an earful on many occasions. Finally, best wishes to Jeremiah and Joe Hagan as they take over as the new owners. Please support them and help D.O.E. to continue to be successful for many more years to come!
