Very excited about August’s Humpday Hoedown. On August 5, our theme night is “Eagles” music. This means music from Eagles , Don Henley and Joe Walsh! We'll be utilizing members of Midnight Flyer THE premier Eagles Tribute Band in the SF Bay Area as your house band!

“What’s Humpday Hoedown?” You may ask....Danville Music puts on a show once a month at Meenar in Danville (1st or 2nd Wednesday of the month) in which we pick music from a band/artist we love and provide a professional band to play selections while musicians in the audience can join us. Students/Patrons/Friends of Danville Music pick a song from our selection and essentially do “instrument karaoke”. Bring a guitar/bass/drumsticks/vocal chords and join us onstage! As always, we'll be giving out accessories to participants throughout the night!!!

We're giving away FREE RAFFLE TICKETS to anybody who walks in for the show. Prizes include T-Shirts, Guitar Effects Pedals, Strings, Guitar Straps, and much more!!!!!!!

Bill Schneider is a CA Bay Area based musician and band manager who has been involved with the SF music scene since the late 80’s. Not only has Bill played in bands such as Pinhead Gunpowder, The Influents, and Dead Sound, Bill has worked as a premier amp/ guitar technician (Joe Satriani, Green Day), managed multiple music shops (Broken Guitars, Black Market Music, Univibe), and is now working as a part of the management team for the legendary Green Day. Bill has played an integral part of designing Signature Models for members of Green Day…. working closely with Fender, Gibson, and Marshall Amplifiers.

In this interview, we talk about his entry to the Bay Area music scene, inception of early amp circuits, how to properly create a pirate radio station without going to prison, and of course…….Gear!
