If you see something say something!! Unfortunately someone has been staying in the 834 Fairchild building (old mission building). They've stolen a lot of items out of the building, computer monitors, window AC units, tools etc. They come in under the cover of darkness and stay in the Southwest 2nd story side of the building above the alley which is the darkest place in the building. They had entered the building a few months back thru a southside ac in the window, I made a police report!! They had located a closet of keys. I believe that's how they have been getting in. I have added chains to the outside of all double doors with big master locks, as well as big locks on all single doors. Also I've locked the stand alone garage doors. If anyone sees anything please call 911. I'm doing more random checks at different times but as my dad said u can't really stop a determined thief, u can just slow him down and make it harder and louder for him/ her. But more importantly please pray for our city, and our country! This world needs God in their lives and He will change their hearts🙏🏿❤️

Good morning Danville and surrounding areas. Danville Rescue will become a cooling center starting today 7-27-26 - 6:30pm for men and women! 213 N. Bowman in the office. Please spread the word. This is for the next couple days until we can get past these extremely hot and humid days! We are in need of Gatorade,snacks and ice! Please be careful & hydrate!! God bless❤️🙏🏿

Praying everyone is staying hydrated and cool!! I'd like to say thank you to the donors that have stepped to help us during these extremely hot days.We've been blessed with Gatorade, salads and financial donations for ice as well as other things we need. Some are regular donors that consistently give, we've also had some new donors that have stepped up as well! Some has stated they want to develop an ongoing partnership. We say thank God for you all! 🙌🏿 God has a way of coming thru in his time which is always on time for us. We have recently received 2 financial donations that have brought tears to our eyes! These blessings allowed us to make our June insurance payment and set up an agreement to make July's payment by the end of July.🙌🏿 my wife and I were over taking with Praises to our faithful God!The city council has voted for the city of Danville to help us with a $2,500 Grant monthly for 2 years !! So our prayer is that the grant will be in our hands by the time August insurance payment is due. Thank you again city council of Danville for recognizing the need for Danville's tax dollars to help the homeless! Our PO Box is 1485 Make any checks out to Danville Rescue. Also donations can be received at the thriftstore 900 Fairchild. Wed - Fri 9am - 3pm. We had to reduce our hrs because of slow sales. Clothing and household items are always welcomed as we resale them at a very very affordable price to our community. Thank you and God bless!! I pray a special blessing on the lives of the donors that support us, as we do the will of God by helping the unhoused of Danville 🙏🏿 Please don't assume we have more than what we need, We are praying a grant from United Way is granted to us,we were denied another grant we applied for!! Imagine that! But God🙏🏿.. let's keep the doors open continuing to show God's love with the intent of helping someone turn their life around❤️

With a few people that stepped up and donated financially, I was able to go purchase a 60 bottle cooler and fill it with ice, water and Gatorade. We had some chips and cookies from our pantry that we put out.Thank you for making these things possible! Keep them coming!!! the air is cool in the office and the drinks are cold and the snacks are plentiful. God is love!! 🙏🏿❤️ We're stronger together 💪🏿

Happy Sunday friends and family.. Our office in the back of the house at 213 N. Bowman will be a cooling place for men and women starting tomorrow June 29th, starting at 10am - 6:30pm. Any donations can be delivered by coming to the office thru the alley behind 213 N. Bowman. Our house manager Bobby will be in the office to assist with those donations. At 6:30pm we will begin our normal intake hrs for our men's overnight shelter. We have plenty of water , but we will need ice, snacks and Gatorade. Please help us help our homeless community during these extremely hot humid days ahead. We need your continued financial assistance as our power bill will reach $600+ for the next few months. Remember we're the only donor funded nonprofit overnight homeless shelter in Danville. Other people and places feed and allow showers but they don't offer overnight housing. With that in mind please help us continue to do this work for God! thank you for your continued assistance.God bless us all and God bless the United States of America 🙏🏿❤️

Good morning everyone, I'd like to say thank you to Mike Pundt for getting a few other guys together and donating 4 custom rims and tires to us to replace the ones stolen! Mike along with Matt Creed & Mike's son Brandon Pundt @ Matt's auto Diagnostics and repair inc. 17085 E. 2250N Rd, Danville IL 61834 made things happen with the help of their friend Bill Bennett.What the devil meant for evil caused the good in others to come out!! There are some great people still in this evil world(Danville area) and Danville Rescue witnesses God's grace and mercy thru these servants of God daily. 🙌🏿 Father increase Matt's business and grant the other men the desires of their heart's in Jesus name.
