Meet the “Bitterroot”!

At Double K, we try to keep our ingredients local and make as much as we can in house. Our specialty cocktail menu uses only Montana spirits and all shrubs and syrups are made in our kitchen. Every cocktail features fruit, vegetables, and herbs that are in season from local farms and will rotate seasonally.

The “Bitterroot”
- Spotted Bear Vodka
- house beet & thyme shrub
- lemon
- tonic
- garnished with a beet salt rim and fresh thyme sprig

Lights are going up in the bar this week! It’s looking so good. Thanks for the beautiful works of art, they are based out of Wyoming and made all of these by hand. It’s a mad dash around here getting things finished up for major cleaning, inspections, and training next week. Coming soon! Grass fed AND finished beef! That’s what we do here at the Double K Ranch, and we mean it. We just completed a third party audit and certification process with A Greener World. They came to the ranch and inspected our facilities, making sure that we are in fact 100% grass fed and finished like we say. There are so many lies in the industry where beef is claimed to be all grass fed, but is still finished for 3-4 months or even longer on grains. So we decided to go the extra step and get ourselves audited every year from now on to prove to our customers that what we say is the truth. More information will be coming to our locations about this certification and what it means. We love Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley, thank you for appreciating good healthy meats!
