Lana and Jess have as much energy and enthusiasm around their Swedish (and more) candy as we do around all the new stores and restaurants and fitness boutiques coming soon to downtown. Kind of rainy today, a perfect day to shop for a good cause. Love Your Friends is a nonprofit started by two close friends of my daughter, Sarah, who lost one of their best friends to su***de. Today, when you shop at LaSource in Darien, 15% of what you spend will go to their foundation to break the stigma of mental health and help this disturbing trend in teen su***de. The Corbin District will match all donations made to help these young men in their important mission. Just love Choupette and Adil. When they opened in downtown Darien, capital was scarce and we did not get their air conditioming and ventilation above the crepe makers right. It bothered me every day. Working together, we recently upgraded all of their systems and now they have the infrastructure they, and you, deserve. Stop by when you can and enjoy the new and improved Choupette !
