Cathycansew Sewing has always been my thing, and quilting is my safe zone. It's where I am most comfortable.

I have made quilts for myself, for my family, others for sale, and gifted hundreds of quilts to charity in the North Georgia area.

Cheater cloth. Circa 1988, or so says the selvage. Talk about a blast from the past. My mama used to have customers bring this type of fabric to her to have hand quilted. It is beautiful. Love the blue/white/cream dresden plate pattern.

2-day quilting project. This 90x90 absolutely beautiful quilt demanded my full attention. The quilting is dense, but I feel that a quilt top made from half-square triangles demands it. Also, it needed the swirls to balance out all the straight lines. Mission accomplished!
