Who told mother nature she could have a hurricane this week? 😡 The weather for Sunday might be rainy but regardless it's going to be a great weekend to visit us at the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival - Waynesville, OH . We are on the eastern end of the festival near the small gas station (NOT the end near McDonald's). Saturday sounds great to shop and then Sunday you can watch football and order food goodies online at www.sicsa.org/pets-pastries-pumpkins/ for pickup at our shopping event at SICSA on Saturday October 24th from 11 to 4 (or choose $5 delivery in the Dayton area). Food orders must be placed before the morning of October 19th. New this year we welcome Plants 4 Paws who will start an online houseplant ordering fundraiser on October 17th for pickup at our event, and they will also bring lots of cute cash and carry plants that day. Give them a follow!

Hi supporters! FOS now has a storage unit in Kettering and so we are now accepting donations for our holiday and spring bazaars, bark n bling (jewelry), and what we hope to be a Summer 2027 garage sale. 👏 Since we don't have adequate storage at SICSA, however, please contact Heather at [email protected], via Facebook Messenger, or leave a voice mail at 937-294-6505 x46 to confirm what items we're accepting and to coordinate dropoff at our Kettering storage unit (we want to avoid transporting items back and forth).

In the meantime, come see us at the Lakota West Craft show in West Chester (near IKEA) this weekend and order your tasty food items for Pets, Pastries and Pumpkins at www.sicsa.org/pets-pastries-pumpkins/ for pickup at SICSA on Saturday October 24 11-4 pm. We'll also have houseplants for sale from Plants 4 Paws 🪴

Looks like great fall weather this weekend to do at least 2 things:

1) visit us at Country Applefest under the big pavilion at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Lebanon. $2 per person cash entry. Please note: traffic to enter on Saturday is historically insane so please being your patience, go at dinnertime ( open until 7 pm), or go on Sunday.
2) order some great food and pet items for pickup at SICSA on Saturday October 24 ( or have delivered in Dayton area for $5) at Pets, Pastries and Pumpkins - prices, descriptions, and order form at www.sicsa.org/pets-pastries-pumpkins/

OK - I bet now that it finally feels like fall outside that everyone will be doing their Pets, Pastries and Pumpkins online ordering this week (who wants cabbage rolls when it feels like you're cooking right in there with them?). So let's see those orders come rolling in for pickup at SICSA on Saturday October 24th from 11 to 4 pm, or for Dayton area delivery for $5. Enjoy Mom Andrasik's Hungarian Cabbage Rolls, Big Sky Bread Company Dayton, Ohio., Gruncle’s Cookies, LLC, Bessies HomeMade Noodles, and Aunt Bobo's Peanutbutter Fudge, plus dog biscuits and bandanas and dog and cat toys! Ordering ends in just a couple weeks, and we'll have limited amounts of food to purchase at the event that day, so don't miss out on your favorites. Prices and pictures are on the order form at www.sicsa.org/pets-pastries-pumpkins/ 😋
