strawberry soak to start my first batch!
I cannot stress enough how IMPORTANT it is for you to soak your berries before consumption. Especially for use of chocolate covered strawberries! it’s a must!!

If you see along the edges of the bowl, black specs will float from the greenery on the strawberries. It’s fungi from the leaves! yuck. These things are sadly often covered in pesticides, and other chemicals from who knows where.

Please keep in mind who/where you’re buying your strawberries from & make sure they’re following the proper process! Better quality ingredients last longer & always taste better.
