What’s on our fall checklist?

Yes, to go to an apple orchard.
Yes, to admire the beauty around us with the changing of the seasons.
Yes, to host a party.

But more importantly…to gather around a crowded table with those we love.

With perfect fall weather we hosted our Heirloom Harvest Party at the most darling and family-friendly apple orchard, Hidden Valley Orchards located in Lebanon, Ohio.

Gathered with friends around a picnic table while being surrounded by the beauty of flowers and apples has certainly made us excited about the coziness of fall and new beginnings.

We hope this DIY dinner party tutorial inspires you to invite your loved ones to a crowded table where you can laugh, tell stories, and enjoy each other’s company.

Save this post and look for our final post of the Heirloom Harvest series where we reveal photos.

Flowers…check! 🌸☑️

Now it is time to finish setting the table. To fully achieve this welcoming tablescape, we are incredibly thankful for local businesses!  We worked with Kosin’s Tents and Events in Centerville, Ohio, who provided beautiful dishes and linens.

Walking into the showroom of Kosins Tents and Events we were amazed at the variety of fabrics, colors, and dinner pieces. With a vision of red, burgundy, and warm neutrals, we selected an ivory tablecloth, with a dark brown rattan charger, textured burgundy cloth napkins, plates with intricate burgundy designs along the edge, and crystal dessert cups.

All of these pieces complemented the centerpiece vessel that Lily found while thrifting: A low-sitting crystal vase.

Save this video of The Floral Host and keep an eye out for Part 3 which will be launched soon!
