CUSTOMER ORDERS, PREORDERS, PRE-SELLING, AND PREVIEW PARTIES
Customers can order from the Consultant’s Paparazzi website, or directly from the Consultant. Consultants should promptly send out orders to the customers. In addition to the new Paparazzi Accessories added daily to the Paparazzi website, Paparazzi also has other programs which offer new and different Accessory items, including Fashion Fix and Life of the Party jewelry. Paparazzi previews these pieces to the qualified Consultants prior to the items being made available for purchase. Consultants can take pre-orders for these items, but the Consultant cannot invoice or accept payment for these items until or unless the Consultant has received the items and the items are in their inventory, OR the Consultant has placed an order for the pieces with Paparazzi and the Consultant has received confirmation from Paparazzi that the order for the pieces has been placed. Many Consultants will ask what their customers want and this is entirely within the bounds of compliance as long as money is not received. Once you receive the order confirmation from Paparazzi, you can invoice your customers and accept payment. On occasion an item may oversell, at which point the Consultant will be credited for that item. If the Consultant has invoiced or received payment from a customer for an item that has oversold, the Consultant must immediately refund any payment for that item to the customer.
Preview Parties are an excellent way to generate excitement about the new pieces arriving for Fashion Fix and Life of the Party pieces. A preview party can help the Consultant determine the level of demand for the pieces among the Consultant’s customers. It is also a great way to inform customers that although the Consultant has access to purchase these exclusive pieces when they become available, the Consultant cannot guarantee their delivery. It also allows the Consultant to clearly explain there will be no invoicing, charging, or collecting money from customers until the Consultant has the product is in his/her possession, or that the Consultant has received confirmation from Paparazzi that the order has been placed.
