Honestly, I can't believe it even has to be said at this point.
We aren't in a recession!
If we were you wouldn't completely cut your budgets either, you would redirect those to other aspects of your marketing.
I would rather you direct your focus into content strategy via a blog or YouTube marketing plan than completely ditch all of your investment.
There is such a thing as sunk costs and while we shouldn't be looking at sunk costs to determine future investments & ROI we may need to look at our marketing efforts as sunk costs in the short term.
A sunk cost is something you spend money on that you cannot recoup now or in the future.
My accounting degree? A sunk cost.
Not everything in our businesses has ROI.
Instead if you are looking for ROI look to options that will bring you long-term traffic & sales from a search engine.
That's why us Pinterest strategists LOVE this platform so much.
It's searchable.
So, if you're thinking about your investments this year I would consider where you want the business to go long-term.
In a year from now what would you like to see happening?
Would you like to still be spinning your wheels editing Instagram Reels like a 2nd grader trying to perform brain surgery?
No? Okay, let's talk about what it looks like to pair BOTH a content strategy & Pinterest together for long-term ROI that is more than a sunk cost.
