MEET THE ARTIST 👩‍🎨

Hey my name is Jasmine and I am the owner and founder of Waxhead Waves Co! I’m a 25 year old fierce Aries with a passion for board art! Born in Georgia and raised all around the Florida coast has made me a total water baby. Surfing, Paddle boarding, wake boarding basically all things water are a passion of mine.

I started Waxhead Waves with the intention of getting my art out there and selling some super cute clothes along the way.
At Waxhead Waves I offer all kinds of art on all kinds of different canvases but my favorite is up cycling and painting surfboards and skateboards.

My Grampa is the man who pushed me to keep on following my dreams of being an artist and to do what I love everyday. Once he passed I decided to retire the board he got me and turn it into an amazing tribute piece for him (swipe to see said board!). While making the board so many emotions ran through me I laughed, I ugly cried, I did it all and by the time the board was finished I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life! Art is an amazing way to express yourself, lock in amazing memories, and feel the feels you never thought you would feel again.

My goal is to make memories for people and teach girls it’s okay to step outside the “norm” and try new things. The best feeling is seeing a little girl stoked about her new longboard or skateboard especially when they have never skated a day in their life!I had a blessed up bringing but my parents were always on the “safe and paranoid” side I wasn’t aloud to skate board because “I could get hurt” had to sneak around and surf because “a shark might get me” but now my parents have embraced my passions and love to see me thriving with them!

If I could leave behind one 1 message for this world it would be no matter who you are or where you come from be kind to people and do what make you feel alive no matter how many crazy looks you may get🤙🏽
