Wow! That's what our customers are saying about our store. We are located in an old movie theater. We have over 6,000 sq. feet of unique, quality used furniture, home décor, glassware and collectibles. New items arrive daily. Although the business has been in the same shopping center for over 12 years, we recently purchased the store on January 22, 2014. Th

e store has an amazing following of customers, as well as over 5,000 consignors. Some of our consignors have travelled the world prior to retiring here, and bring in the most unusual items for us to sell. We currently sell middle-to-upper-end furniture and décor, but are planning to expand where we can carry furniture/décor for every lifestyle situation: just starting out; married and expanding the family; successful and upgrading; and, empty-nesters now downsizing. We are very competitive in our pricing. We realize that we need both our consignors and our buying customers. We strive to achieve a win-win situation for both our consignors and our shoppers. Our goal is to get a good price for the items we're selling, while having our buyers feel that they got some really great furniture at a really fair price. We have a unique setting as we are located in an old movie theater - the Big Tree Twin. We have a private courtyard leading up to our store. We have a huge customer base that shops with us every week, and some that visit many times a week. If you haven't been to our store, stop by and take a look. Our shopping center has a new owner, and not renewing leases. So, closing our doors for now. EVERYTHING MUST GO! Not planning to move 6,000 sq. feet of furniture and decor, so come by, take a look, make an offer. 2018 S. Ridgewood Ave. Corner of Big Tree Rd. and S. It's been a very busy year, which is why I haven't posted in a long while. We opened our second store in the original downtown area of Daytona Beach....124 N. Beach Street. Beach Street is being revitalized and has so many new and interesting shops and restaurants opening here. There are so many fun events taking place right on our Street such as the Wine Walk we just participated in. We're looking forward to the 54th annual Halifax Art Festival Nov. 5th & 6th. Our Street will be closed off, and over 30,000 people are expected up and down Beach Street. It'll be a crazy weekend. I've posed some pictures of some of our newest arrivals, with new items coming in weekly.

So, I went to an estate auction the other night. They had a huge collection of roosters...pictures, figurines, cookie jars, etc., etc. The only one I snagged was this big, gold-framed patchwork rooster. I had every intention of selling him in the store, but, he somehow made his way to a wall in my kitchen. My kitchen is not country at all, but the black background looked great with the black granite on my counters. Maybe one day I'll sell him, but for now he's very happy where he is, and he makes me smile. Maybe my niece, Alycia, will be able to duplicate him, or come up with her own twist on a patchwork rooster, chicken, cow, horse, etc. Take a look at my new rooster and other new arrivals.

December was a great month! So busy, and so exhausted.

Goal for 2015: Open a second store (this time, buy our own commercial building - no more renting). There, since I posted it, I'll have to make it happen, or eat lots of crow. I don't like crow very much.

Been soooooo busy. Furniture coming in and going out.
