This venue was magical! Incredible setting with such a mood to it! And this color scheme was so modern romantic with the gorgeous light and brick! Swoon!

Happy Saturday!
Here’s some random musings for you.
I had a little procedure this week and it’s given me more downtime than I’m used to.
Which lead to more play time, I’ve been bedazzling, coloring, playing Netflix games, reading and enjoying my boys company before they head to school.
I recently started taking pottery lessons… might seem strange for a woman that owns a creative based business to need more room for creativity, but if you’re an artist you understand the need for art for art sake.
And let me tell you learning a new skill at 40 is exactly what I needed. I think about it often but the difference is, this version of me doesn’t feel pressured to monetize it… right now. As a certified perimenopausal adhd-er I may change my mind. And if that happens I’ll need y’all to forget this.
So anyway, I urge you to try something new, maybe it’s cooking your favorite Indian dish, or hand mending that college sweatshirt, just make sure you’re a little uncomfortable and then do it anyway.
