All good things must come to an end. Mother Nature won this time. There are a pile of pre spawners by the dam, but they will be back in the lake before the river clears up. I personally have never seen it this bad. Thank you to everyone that contuines to support our small operation year after year. In the meantime keep supporting your favorite little guy, Good Ole Days Bait & Tackle, Walleyes & Whitetails, North Shore Bait Company, Smokey's on the Bay, and Rippn-Lips Tackle Company. Record setting night! Team Bullshark gets the WIN with an incredible weight of 53.38lbs! They also secured First Place in the Side Pot! Full results will be posted later this morning after a quick nap. Thanks to all the anglers for a smooth event!

Things seem to finally be headed in the right direction. We are gaining clarity and water temps will be rising this week. You can finally see rocks underwater along the shore. I anticipate some big bags for Trevor's night tournament Saturday and solid week and half to 2 weeks of excellent fishing, granted we dont get anymore down pours. There are a pile of fish in the river that havent been fished and the post spawn casting and trolling bite is about be fire.

Hey TG Gabriel we figured out how to hold 2 fish at once last night without holding them vertical. Rubber gloves and a quick trigger finger on the camera. Smaller custom hit sticks painted by Frank Sterzinger were the ticket last night. They are inhaling the smaller baits right now, with brighter colors being the best. Bigger bites still coming on the bright colored P10s, but the #9 hitsticks are getting hit more. Slower than Monday night, but we still caught a bunch. Less fish but better quality. Big fish was 29.75.

I don't troll often. When I do its this time of year with my pal Troy Krause and we have a blast every year. Multiple doubles and multiple legal fish. I thought we'd break 30 with the fronts going through, but never did. We ran P10s and hitsticks custom painted by Frankie and Rippn-Lips Tackle Company. During sunset, shiny/darker colored P10s were the ticket. As the night progressed we had to switch to hitsticks and change speed. The 9s were hard to keep in the water, but the 13s were picking up the bigger fish. All in all, a blast on the water with good company. Lots of laughs and lighting. Green Bay fish love sh*tty weather. Lost maybe 2 fish all night and one ski we couldn't fit in the net. She was nice enough to give us our bait back though. Time to change out hooks and get back out there.
