When you're a seamstress, it's always learning something new.. I'd never done this type of memory quilt before with clothesline look but it was requested specifically and we never say we can't.. we learn new things!! This was so much fun to do and I only hope there are more memory quilt requests but mostly, that this one is loved for years as much as the love I put into making it! Thank you, Jason, for trusting me to bring your idea to life!! ❤️❤️❤️

For the first time in a VERY long time I was a vendor at an event, The Buttermilk Barn Sale . I thought I was done with vendor shows forever but something felt right. I made some absolutely precious new friends and had the best weekend!! What a blessing to begin finding my people here. Vendors, customers, everyone I encountered.. all so kind and welcoming!! I forgot for a bit what having that village, that community feels like. It lit up something in my soul and the icing on the cake is being surrounded by fellow Christians who truly engulfed showing their love of Christ and even praying over the event before it started. I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity and the start of new friendships❤️

So I purchased some vintage quilts from a lady and she really wanted something in memory of her dad she lost last year.. we decided on his favorite hymn and use one of the quilts to frame it.. I'm OBSESSED with how this turned out!! The angel wings made for the perfect memory piece 💖

I did a prototype of a quilt bum bag today and it's sooo good!! these will definitely be on my table this week- I had to perfect the pattern and I like where it ended up! The vintage lace trim on the inside pockets turned out so sweet ♥️Thanks to Rosalyn Hryc Hussey for the scraps from her jeans project, she gets a matching bag!
