Everyday Sunshine We're a 501c3 non-profit organization trying to make the world a little more inclusive.

Currently we're working on an inclusive playground, a thrift store to employ adults with disabilities and a tv show for pediatric hospitals. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization trying to make the world a little more inclusive. Our organization was founded in 2012 by Jeff Sharp and Bobby Blount as a means to perform for children's charities such as Arc of Morgan County, Cystic Fibrosi

s Foundation, Extraordinary People, Shining Stars, United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville, Charity:Water, Families and Children Experiencing Separation, the Autism Society of Alabama, The American Cancer Society and the Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation, among others. Everyday Sunshine is currently working on building an inclusive playpark for people of EVERY age and EVERY ability. We're also opening a thrift store that will employ adults with disabilities and provide job experience for students in Decatur's Developmental Program. For the past several years we've been performing at live events for people with intellectual disabilities and also filming a silly TV show that will be distributed to all 235 pediatric hospitals in the United States. The show will also be distributed to over 700 local chapters of The Arc, the largest national organization of and for people with intellectual and related developmental disabilities and their families.

We want to say a big THANK YOU to the organizations who volunteered with us yesterday for the United Way’s Day of Action. The Rotary Daybreak Club and Decatur Youth Services help sort clothing and the crew from Indorama Ventures worked in the sweltering heat to make the landscape look great. Thank you for your time, energy and care to support our mission. We appreciate you !

Today is the United Way’s Day of Action. Volunteers will be all over town helping out organizations and doing good. We are very proud to be partners with the United Way for our Ready? Set. Work ! Program that provides job coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities. The United Way is also investing in ESU. They are a vital part of what we do and we are very grateful for all of their support .
