I chose to accept this mission - to save as many things as possible from the landfill by upcycling them into beautiful art and fashion.

Can’t ever find souvenirs with your name on them? Me neither! That’s why I made my own. Did you know that we can customize accessories together and not just clothing? It’s true! Up cycling with me at my You Design - I Sew events can be more than just clothing! I’m loving my new custom wristlet keychain!!! 🩷🩵 (Emerald is wondering when I’m going to make her one 😆)

I say animal print is a neutral and then I make it most definitely not 😅

Wondering how it works?

Step 1: Pick out an awesome find in The Getup’s inventory

Step 2: Play around with Elise’s upcycled graphics and how they could fit on your new piece. have fun and make it your own!

Step 3: When you are happy with your design, bring it over to Elise to sew! I’ll be here June 3 & 10 from 2-6pm!

Step 4: Take it home - wear it out. When someone stops you on the street to admire your piece, tell them, “Thanks! I designed it!”

Can’t sew but still want to customize your wardrobe? I’m hosting another You Design - I Sew Pop Up with The Getup for their customer appreciation days! Purchase an item from them and then add to it! I’ll be there to sew my up-cycled graphics to your new clothing items on Wednesday, June 3 & 10 from 2-6pm.

I’m hosting another pop-up in conjunction with ‘s customer appreciation days! I’ll be at the shop Wednesday, June 3rd and 10th from 2-6pm. Purchase an item from The GetUp and then pick one of the up-cycled graphics for me to sew on for you right then and there! Graphics range from $5-$35 each and sewing is $10/garment.
