Large Burmese Kalaga Tapestry~ $175
37 inches (just over 3 ft)

These gorgeous works of art have been priced anywhere from $200 on into the thousands

“An incredibly unique Statement Piece that brings Cultural Wonder to any space.”

Burmese tapestries, known as Kalaga (meaning “curtain”), are traditional, heavily embellished textiles from Myanmar (Burma), originating in the 19th-century Mandalay court.

Hand-stitched with intricate embroidery… sequins, beads, coral, and metallic threads on velvet, featuring an incredibly detailed Elephant surrounded by zodiac signs providing a quilted, 3D effect. There are normal signs of wear consistent with age of this piece, such as few missing beads and pulled threads(price reflects wear)
