Chick updates.

I'm currently out of chicks but will have 1 more small batch coming in on April 16th with ameraucana's and Mocah marans.

I'm working on placing a custom order for the middle of May. If you'd like something specific let me know and I'll see if it's an option. I will require a deposit for special orders. Minimum of 5 birds. This special order will close on April 9th.

Mocah marans will be here tomorrow!!!!

Have you been wanting that chocolate egg in your egg basket? The Mocha Maran is a cross between Novogenā€™s bloodline of Rhode Island Red hen and their French Black Copper Maran rooster. This combination creates a beautiful bird with rustic or reddish-brown tones paired with a darker brown to black body. They are known to adapt well to all living environments. Chicks are able to be color s*xed, guaranteeing near 100% gender accuracy. Due to the cross some may develop feathered legs while others will not. Overall, the Mocha Maran provides a vibrant colored bird, high laying efficiency, and a unique egg color to add to your flock.

I will have s*xed pullets available Thursday at 9am.

Backcross Olive eggers! These girls will lay an array of dark olive almost back to brown egg. They are F2+ crossed back with a black copper maran rooster. I have many generations in my flock. Most will have feathered legs and some are black with red around the necks (look like marans) and some are gray. They add such great variety to your egg basket!

The Delaware is a dual-purpose heritage chicken breed from the U.S., known for being a calm, friendly, and fast-maturing bird that is excellent for both eggs and meat. They are predominantly white with black barring on the neck and tail, have yellow skin, and lay a range of brown eggs. Originally developed in the 1940s as a premier broiler chicken, they are hardy in both heat and cold and are a great choice for beginners and families.
