𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 #𝟭𝟮 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲!! This week, I paneled one side of my rotating display with pegboard to showcase earrings & magnets! New fall/Halloween (🎃🦇⚡️) and awareness (breast cancer, su1ic1de, and addiction) items!!

I still have bamboo cutting boards and slate coasters on this display (both all original designs). This is also where you can find Warriors inspired flashlights, bag bling, and hat clips. Warriors, Vikings, & Wild inspired earrings are on the wall. By request, I also brought wristlets back in!!

As far as treasures go, I brought in a 4-pc Star Vine set, scarves, chalkboard weekly planner, grapevine garland, and much more!! If you had your eyes on the Joy Bailey painting or vintage garden gnomes (photo in comments), reach out. They are still available.

JOI at Home will NOT be attending August markets. Honestly, the weather is gorgeous and perfect for strolling the Deer River Farmer & Artisan Market today, though! ☀️

Let's show up for the vendors hauling their displays, setting up, and sitting in the heat hoping to see YOU!
August crowds & sales can be so unpredictable. As a vendor, sometimes you pack everything up at the end of the day wondering if all that work was worth it. These really are the dog days of market season.

So, if you're in Deer River, MN today, stop by, say hello, browse the booths, and maybe take something home with you 🫶🏻 (You can also visit the small shops downtown—Wild River Boutique, The Flower House, Cinderella's Closet, Code Brew, & Dodge & Co. The Chocolate Dog is closed until 8/19.)

Is it apple season yet?! 🍎
The earrings inspired by my grandma's apples are available at Dodge & Co now. I also have a wide variety of , apple-themed items in my booth—baskets, wall hangings, tea light lamp, cork board, planters, and even a mug cozy! Get ready for fall & back to school in Booth #12.

CraftsWOMANship runs in my family!
One of my grandma's hobbies in the 90s was making (& selling) yard art using her jigsaw, plywood, paint, and patterns. Many of the designs were shared, think "Wooden Boy Peeing & Girl Covering Eyes" 🙈, but she also made her own patterns. One of my favorite designs is this set of apples that came in red, yellow, or green!! 🍎💛🍏

My grandma would’ve been 78 today 🥳
She passed before I got my laser, but I can imagine she'd be calling nonstop for updates and to cheer me on. I know she'd be honored by my latest project, which was inspired by these apples and have been on my “ideas to burn” list since day one—guess I just committed, so stay tuned 👀

JOI at Home will NOT be at the Deer River Market today. Tbh, end of summer is busy for my family, and I haven't made a decision about the remaining dates. I still want to share the flyer because supporting small is SO IMPORTANT, and behind the scenes, these vendors are making a huge time & financial commitment when they set up for YOU. Go browse the vendors from 1-5p on Fridays in August and bring home locally grown, homemade, and handcrafted goods.

I've officially crossed an idea off my "someday" list ❤️

Dodge & Co's 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗬 was the perfect excuse to finally make the interchangeable ladder sign I've been thinking about for YEARS...and can we talk about the quilt block for a second?! Apparently this year is all about checking dusty, cobweb covered ideas off my list because quilt patterns were another forever "someday" idea, and this is already my second one ✔️✔️💁🏼‍♀️
