Just a moment of your time. I have been made aware today that General Faire is now available on Amazon without my consent. A request has been made to opt-out and I am awaiting a response. This is a new Amazon AI feature that is being tested.
I have built this business over nearly 5 years from the ground up, and have stayed consciously away from being connected with Amazon. The reasons are many, happy to share if interested.
In researching this, other business owners are hearing messages of “you should be grateful” when contacting Amazon. Shame on you, Amazon. Shame. On. You. A message to other product-based business owners selling online, check your presence on Amazon NOW. I guess we need a tagline update from “Shop Small” to “Shop Small From Small Businesses Directly”.
Editing to add: shame on Shopify for being complicit in this matter, and knowingly allowed this to continue.
