Bob’s Office has an exciting introduction.
Our first galleried artist. Jenny Jarnagin is an American artist, known for her earthy, yet sophisticated style of acrylic/mixed medium paintings. Oklahoma born, but Canadian raised in the wilderness of British Columbia, Jenny’s education in both music and art was rich and diverse. Her passion for the arts came naturally at an early age, as she would spend her days playing piano, drawing pictures and riding horses. As a young adult, she returned to Oklahoma on a piano scholarship, but took additional college classes in design and life drawing. Eventually graduating with a Master’s degree in music, Jarnagin went on to write hundreds of songs, record thirteen albums in Phoenix, LA and Nashville with top industry musicians and producers, toured with her own band, was a featured songwriter on Arizona PBS’s Songwriters’ Showcase, and much more. Just a handful of years ago Jenny felt a calling to pursue art again. Returning for more education, she attended another four years of art class, including a stint in Neuilly Sancerre, France where she attended artist workshops. As her painting style became more refined, galleries began displaying her art; selling to collectors from around the world. Rich in colour, depth and feeling, Jenny’s paintings depict a new take on traditional subject matters. Boundless in style, and outside the lines, her work is intentionally created to provoke a feeling of freedom, fostering imagination. Jarnagin resides in Oklahoma, and currently tours with Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses, playing B3 and piano.
