I taught my kids to read using the Bible, and it has done so much more than just accelerate their reading skills—it has rooted them in the Word. This is my 10-year-old reading a passage. Not only is he reading it well, but he can actually explain the deeper meaning to me, which completely exceeded my expectations. I realize now that I used to underestimate my children. But just like everything else the Bible teaches us, it reminds me that we should never underestimate what God can do through them... or through us. 💫
