I love vintage. I REALLY love vintage. But when you’re a working mom and a small business owner, some days are just survival mode with lipstick.

That’s when I reach for a good reproduction dress. I can work in it, run errands in it, hustle around the grocery store in it and actually live my life without worrying about popping a seam, spilling coffee on it, or sweating through one of my precious vintage pieces.

Some days call for the real deal. Other days call for a dress that can keep up with me.
And honestly... I’m grateful for both. 💋

Living with anxiety and ADHD can make things that look incredibly simple from the outside feel surprisingly complicated.

Getting dressed. Doing my hair. Putting on makeup. Choosing an outfit. Getting out the door. To someone else, these might just be mundane parts of getting ready. For me, they can be little accomplishments in the day.

Familiar routines give my brain something predictable to hold onto when my thoughts are running in seventeen directions at once and anxiety is doing its best to convince me that everything is far more complicated than it actually is.

And honestly, some days even those little things take effort.

A vintage dress, a swipe of lipstick, fixing my hair, and yes… occasionally doing my hair before my makeup just to really shake things up. 😂

It may look like playing dress-up.
For me, sometimes it’s part of getting through the day.

One of my favorite fits lately...This classic femme fatale look features this vintage 1989s does 1940s silver blouse that has the most exquisite tailoring through the waist and sleeves. Honestly, I could spend a small fortune having one in every color known to man.

Paired with the Sierra Sailor Pencil Skirt X Unique Vintage, available . The skirt is one of those must have wardrobe staples with just enough stretch and the most flattering pointed high waist.

And my little secret for making almost any outfit feel more vintage? A red lip and the right accessories.

This Dorset Rex Fifth Avenue silvertone metal basket weave handbag is one of my top five favorite vintage purses in my collection. She deserves to be the star, so I’ll be doing a separate video to properly showcase this beauty.
