When I took a break from the exhausting travel of my corporate retail career I found myself in a deep state of gratitude for all things “Home”.

Home is Delaware, Ohio, the downtown district, and OWU. It was only natural that when I decided to open my made from scratch retail shop (a test concept in the works for 6 years deeply researched and resource invested) brick and mortar that I do so as close to campus as possible. It’s sentimental more than anything. A whopping 18 members of my family have attended OWU. I regularly share with visitors and prospective students that one of my single best decisions of my life was when I transferred into OWU from a huge state school and that I wish that I had enrolled directly from high school, but any time is the best time to enroll in this school.

Community is everything. Honey & Abernathy welcomes all new and returning students, faculty and staff.
