In honor of Patriot Day and the 25th anniversary of September 11, Associated Builders and Contractors of Central Ohio hosted a “Shoot Against a First Responder” event during today’s fundraiser, with all proceeds from the First Responder competition benefiting Folds of Honor.

Today, we honor and thank the brave men and women who serve our communities, and remember the courageous first responders and countless others who made the ultimate sacrifice 25 years ago.

May we never forget. 🇺🇸

Introducing Courtney Froh, our newest Black Wing fi****ms instructor!
Courtney specializes in working with beginner shooters—and it wasn’t long ago that she was one herself! After finding a passion for the shooting sports, she continued building her skills and is now excited to help others do the same.
With Courtney joining our team, we’re excited to offer Ladies Only sessions of two of our beginner courses: Intro to Handgun and Handgun Selection.
Women make up a large portion of our beginner students, and we’re excited to offer another welcoming way for them to get started.

It's corporate outing season! We're proud to host businesses, charities, and community groups as they experience the shooting sports at Black Wing. As a result, there may be occasional range closures—especially on the Sporting Clays course.

BIG NEWS in the world of suppressor legislation!
A federal court ruling, effective today, removes the federal registration requirement for suppressors. This means suppressors would no longer require an additional federal registration process beyond the standard requirements for purchasing a firearm.
However, Ohio isn’t there just yet. Ohio has its own state law requiring suppressors to be federally registered, so Black Wing and other federally licensed firearm dealers must continue following the current process for the time being.
The good news? Ohio SB 214 is aimed at bringing Ohio law in line with this federal change—and Black Wing is excited to be part of the conversation surrounding its implementation in our state.
This is a big step forward, and we’ll continue following the developments closely and sharing updates as we get them!

We are excited to finally welcome shooters back to our indoor range in a limited capacity!!
Our 50 ft. Pistol Range has a fresh coat of paint and is clean, refreshed, and ready for shooters!
For now, we will have 7 lanes available for both pistol and rifle shooting. If the range reaches capacity, we may limit range time to 90 minutes to help accommodate everyone.
We never realized how much we missed the sound of gunfire in the background until we went without it for a few weeks!

Indoor Range Update!
Thank you for your patience and support as we continue working to restore our indoor ranges. Our priority is reopening as quickly and safely as possible, and we're happy to share an update.
Current Target Reopening: August 19
We anticipate reopening the following on August 19:
• 50 ft. Pistol Range – Open for both pistol and rifle shooting.
• Interactive Range – Open for pistol shooting only.
The 75 ft. Rifle Range was directly affected by the fire and remains under restoration. At this time, we do not have an estimated reopening date for this range.
If ranges become available sooner than August 19th, we will post any updates on our page as they are available.
Members, please refer to your email as to an update on how we plan to handle memberships.
