A painting ia more than color, materials, tools, and outcome; it is more than the person who creates it; more than the viewer who sees it; it is arguably the most important evidence of how the mind and soul compromise, how the spiritual self takes over the physical self, no matter, it is, to me, the most important of all I've ever created.
Acrylic pouring has taken people who would never believe themselves to be artists and given them a method to produce art; without rules, it's art as total chaos, with no real objective, as randomness is all it knows. This piece of art was one of my first circa November 2020. I can not tell you how many times we stared into it, finding new things. When we lost our home December 4th, 2021, we also lost this, and another nearly 200 other pieces of art.
We will not make any of the art that was lost again. Picasso said to copy one's self is pathetic, I have to agree. Instead, we share this art with the hopes you'll enjoy what each piece means to us, aside from its death and destruction.
This piece of art will always be one of the first i agreed to hang on our walls, which takes a great deal of bravery considering I am a contractor.
