These are a few of my favorite, very random things that have arrived recently. Every day we receive more books and toys and whatnots and except for specific book release dates, it's always a bit of a surprise what will arrive and when. Then the incredible women at the shop open the boxes, properly appreciate all this great stuff and somehow (and this is where some of their multiple true skills come to play) find display space! Stop by and browse our books and nooks and every cranny!

We are big fans of Shawn Braley Illustration greeting cards. These charming and whimsical cards are simply delightful and we currently have an entire spinner display at the front of the shop with cards for birthdays for almost anyone on your list and some beautiful designs for sending anytime. The Halloween cards are wonderful and all the cards are blank inside.

National Book Lovers Day is this Sunday, August 9th and while I Love Books is closed on Sundays, you can stop in today and tomorrow 10am-5pm and pick up a few new arrivals and spend the entire day Sunday in love with books! Or grab a classic or bestseller or just dig into that stack by your bed, just take some time to read. I promise it will nourish your soul.
