🦎🦎 PSA.. NEVER text and drive 🚗 👀!... unless you're a chameleon.🦎🦎

Pascal, our Veiled Chameleon can look in two different directions at the same time, keeping an eye on everything around him. Imagine being able to read your work emails and truly watch your child in the batters box at the same time! A late 2025 published study found the chameleon has a fascinating coiled optic nerves that allow this range of eye movement and the processing of imagery. It's early yet but there are some great theories being shared on how this knowledge could one day benefit human and robotic vision.

Chameleons are the ultimate multi-tasking species. Meanwhile, most of us can't find our phone while we're talking on it. 👀 🤳 😂

We will be open this weekend 6-12, 13, and 14. Friday 4 to 7, Saturday 12 to 4, Sunday 12 to 4.

🐸🫩🐸Say hello to Smiley, one of our favorite Pacman frogs!

Pacman frogs are ambush predators. They don't go looking for food they simply burrow down and wait for unsuspecting prey to stroll by.

Nicknamed "grumpy hopping heads," their mouths make up nearly 50% of their bodies. They're relentless eating machines with a serious attitude problem 🫩.

Pacman Frog Rule #1: If it moves, eat it.
Pacman Frog Rule #2: If it doesn't move, wait. It might move later... at which point you immediately eat it.
Pacman Frog Rule #3: Assess whether it will fit in your mouth, then try to eat it whether it fits or not. 🐸🫩🐸

This weekend 6-5, 6, and 7 we will be open Friday 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

🐍🌞 ​Dakota is officially summer bod ready! 🐍🌞👙
​He just dropped a 4'3", 0.24 oz shed. Honestly, owning snakes is a lot like having teenagers... they get tired of an outfit and just casually leave it right in the middle of the floor for you to pick up!
