It’s always summer around here.

New beads just arrived and I already know exactly what I want to do with them. A new Collector Charm is coming soon and these colors have me VERY excited.

Another painting is headed to its new home.

I’m always a little ridiculous when I pack them up. I hug them, talk to them and basically tell them to behave themselves in their new homes.

But then I received this email and got goosebumps.

I really do believe God connects people for a reason. The fact that something I created with my own two hands can bring someone else joy still blows my mind.

This is the part I never want to take for granted.

As long as you have walls, I’ll keep painting.

I don’t think I’ll ever get used to seeing SOLD on my artwork.

God is answering prayers I’ve been praying quietly for a long time, and I’m incredibly grateful for every single person who supports what I’m building.

This feels like a little moment, but a really big one to me.

There’s something about finally having a space that’s so organized it makes you feel free. Still a work in progress, but it already is SO good.

Almost there. Every shell, color and detail chosen specifically for this piece and the home it’s going to.

This is why I love creating custom work.

The finished shell is only the last version you see.

Before that? I paint over it. Change the color. Add something. Take something away. Decide I love it. Decide I don’t. And keep going until it finally feels right.

That’s probably my favorite part of creating. I rarely know exactly where a piece is going when I start. I just know when I’ve finally arrived.

Nature is probably my biggest source of it. The colors, patterns, textures, shells, flowers, palms… then I walk into my studio and somehow all of those little things I noticed start finding their way into what I create.
