Acoustic Energy AE2 40th Anniversary. This highly limited set of speakers is expected to begin shipping Late October / Early November. AE2 is aimed at the purist audiophile. Low order, minimalist crossovers result in a ‘live’ fast sound, forgoing technical niceties and paper specifications to drill down to the heart of the music. It’s a music lovers’ speaker first and foremost.

Installed today in Boca Raton: the Diptyque DP140 MKII-EVO, finished in a custom off-white with caramel leather trim.

Our client auditioned many speakers before he found what he wanted. He auditioned several speakers, chasing one thing: a pair that disappears into the room, where the gear falls away and all that’s left is the music. He found it the moment he first heard a pair of Diptyques.

These magnetic planar speakers use thin panel drivers instead of traditional cones and boxes. The new EVO revision adds bass regulators developed with aerospace engineers, giving tighter, cleaner bass at higher volume.
