So it's been a minute since I posted anything about helping yourself mentally. I apologize for that. I've been ill for the majority of this month.
I honestly believe that had I still been eating with unhealthy habit and foods, it would have taken me soooooo much longer to get over this round of covid.
I can't tell y'all how very different this time was for me vs. the last time I had it in 2023.
I'm feeling much more like myself now, and I'm back to exercising for sciatic relief and mental health. Listen y'all, from the second I felt well enough to go back to some of my normal routine, I dreaded the very idea of exercise because I hate not being able to breathe freely. I really thought that I would workout for 5 minutes then cough for 10.
As a motivator I took myself outside so I could enjoy the morning, strapped on that infinity hoop and hooped my fat self back to health. Within the first 5 minutes I did start coughing but it wasn't like I thought. I was able to push through after about 30 seconds. I didn't even have to stop hooping!
3 things that have seriously helped me feel better are 1. Drinking filtered water 2. Exercising and 3. Getting outside in the sunshine.
Of course, Trev and I still keep the preservatives to a bare minimum in our foods and that also really helps us to feel better. We really do encourage folks to try getting back to scratch. We both have different types of issues, and this is something that has benefits for both of us.
Trevis and I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. And now that the stress of another holiday has passed, you are fully capable to handle anything that comes your way! You've got this. You can achieve your goals.
