One of the buildings in Denham Springs’ Historic District that we will be investigating later this month is Heritage House Antiques.

Long before it was an antique store, the building is believed to have operated as a boarding house in the early 1900s, when Denham Springs was growing as a small railroad town.

During that time, people traveled to Denham Springs to visit the area’s natural mineral springs, which were believed to have healing properties.

Boarding houses like this one often hosted visitors, travelers, and workers passing through town.
With so many people coming and going over the years, buildings like this tend to hold a lot of history within their walls.

Later this month, the Ghost Hunting Housewives will be conducting a private paranormal investigation inside the building.

We’ll be documenting everything and sharing any evidence we may — or may not — capture.
