I’m feeling nostalgic today and again realizing how memories of loved ones and precious times are very often tied to objects from our lives.

Sometimes there’s so much sweetness to be remembered…I can hardly stand it. Really.

Sometimes you laugh hard and other times it’s just a soft smile as the memories flood your mind.

Need a little peace and quiet? Then sit back…and Imagine this elegant vintage lamp in a special place in your house…casting a nice soft light.

According to “sources” (google), Soft lighting has a calming effect. Soft lamp light lowers stress, reduces eye strain, and helps your body relax.

It mimics natural sunset tones, which signals your brain to slow down, lower cortisol levels, and prepare for restful sleep.

Yesterday I saw a Coke commercial on tv and I immediately went back in time to this 1971 song that we all sang for a very long time. I’ll never forget it. 🔥The best advertisement ever!🔥 I’ve been quite moved watching all the celebrations on tv (inside the cool house)…and pondering on the freedoms I’ve enjoyed all my life. What blessings have been showered on us all. I’m continuing to celebrate The 4th of July! God bless you all. I may or may not have marched around following this toddler and singing “You’re a Grand Old Flag.” Do you think I did? 😂
