Gentle followers of the Antique Dresser, what a JOY it is to get to meet some of you face to face!!! This charming girl and I had the best conversation when she was shopping in our booth… and she gave permission to post her photo here. She (Shang-ti), has a passion for all things cottage core and is gifted with design skills. Just look at her wall! 😍 Oh my! A few of these items came from our shop and a few from other shops inside Main Street Mall Denison. Her home must be amazing! 🌸Thanks to all of you all for shopping our space and for following us on Facebook.🌸 It makes me so happy to meet you in person and hear what you’re doing. It was a very good day.

Rain showers and beautiful plants make me want to take this Vintage bamboo plant stand home with me. But…it’s going into the shop in a few days. Picture it inside your home with your favorite plant on it. Takes up very little space and doesn’t even have to hold a plant. Maybe just your coffee cup.

In honor of the USA’s 250th celebration, today we put this soldier’s portrait in the slot of this vintage banner. It appears to be a photograph, but is actually a copy of a fine-line pencil sketch of a soldier we dearly loved. A career Air Force pilot, he flew countless missions in Vietnam. This portrait of him was done by a Vietnamese artist in country. Though our soldier is gone from us now, his memory is very very vivid. My eyes filled today as I placed this banner in the shop so that everyone who passes by can see our hero, Michael Cox.
