After 10 years at the Denton Community Market I could not bring myself to go back this year due to a board that dissmissed all my concerns and treated vendors as their employees.

Many other vendors were kicked out for minor infractions or for publicly voicing their concerns with how the market was being run and left to scramble to find markets in other cities to fill their schedules to make money to support themselves and their families.

I am asking for your help to bring the “community” back to the Denton Community Market.

What was once a thriving, community-driven market has changed, and we believe it’s time for local voices to be heard. If you care about supporting local vendors, fostering community connections, and preserving the spirit that made this market special, please take a moment to sign the petition.

But don’t stop there—join us at the Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, June 23 at 6:00 PM at Dan’s Silverleaf. This is an opportunity to come together, learn more about the issues facing the market, ask questions, and make your voice heard.
