PDNB Gallery PDNB Gallery (Photographs Do Not Bend) specializes in fine art
photography and photo-based art. The gallery also exhibits emerging artist.

Since opening in Dallas in 1995, the gallery has exhibited photography from the early 20th Century to present, covering Photo-Secession, Modernism, Documentary, New Topographics, Photojournalism and Conceptual Art. Exhibits have also included painting, works on paper and sculpture. Most artist exhibited are established and included in major museum collections. Exhibitions rotate every six to eight

weeks. PDNB Gallery has been a member of the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) since 1996.

TONIGHT is the opening reception of our group exhibition, The Last Cowboy Song. From 5 – 8 PM, visit the gallery to view vintage and contemporary photographs, and celebrate cowboy culture! This event is part of Downtown Denton Foundation’s First Fridays. Free and open to the public. We hope to see you in the gallery!

Join PDNB Gallery on Friday, September 4th from 5 – 8 PM, for the opening reception of The Last Cowboy Song: Images of a Vanishing Breed. Bringing together a powerful collection of vintage and contemporary photography, this group exhibition examines the enduring visual history, romanticized mythology, and rugged reality of cowboy culture across America.
PDNB’s opening coincides with the Downtown Denton Foundation First Friday celebration of art, music and culture. This event is free and open to the public!

“Spanning six decades, Radical Vision brings together works by Lucien Clergue, Margaret Hicks, György Kepes, Ida Lansky, Karl Straub, Edward W. Quigley, and Lotte Stam-Beese. Though concise in scale, the exhibition traces photography's evolution beyond its traditional role as a document of a single moment, revealing how artists transformed the medium into a site of experimentation, abstraction, and perceptual inquiry.”

The Last Cowboy Song: Images of a Vanishing Breed
September 4 – October 31, 2026
Opening Reception: Friday, September 4th from 5 – 8 PM

PDNB Gallery is proud to announce its upcoming exhibition, The Last Cowboy Song, bringing together a powerful collection of vintage and contemporary photography, the exhibition examines the enduring visual history, romanticized mythology, and rugged reality of cowboy culture across America.
By pairing historic rodeo action with quiet ranch portraits and urban play, The Last Cowboy Song invites viewers to explore how an American icon was forged, mythologized and sustained.
In addition to the photography exhibition a display of vintage cowboy boots, spurs, and folk art will be featured.
PDNB's opening reception on Friday, September 4th coincides with the Downtown Denton Foundation First Friday celebration of art, music and culture.

Yesterday, August 26th, was Women’s Equality Day! PDNB Gallery artist Jeanine Michna-Bales, along with Crista DeLuzio and Olivia Justice, spoke at a Luncheon event hosted by the League of Women Voters of Dallas at the Downtown Dallas Public Library. Jeanine spoke about her series, Standing Together: Photographs of Inez Miholland’s Final Campaign for Women’s Suffrage.
