Don't forget- February is Pet Dental Month. Even though this is a regular thing for Pet Parents. It is a good time to make sure those teeth stay shiny and healthy.
Brushing is one of the best options and if your pet is shy of the brush try a finger brush as they might trust it more. Quite a few like the taste of the gels and pastes which helps!
There are so many options for dental chews for scraping the teeth. Try and keep to ones with healthy ingredients. Natural raw bones work great too. Just make sure your pet does not have any existing dental issues before offering hard chews.
There are also lots of water and food additives that help control plaque and tartar.
And of course if it's time for a checkup or teeth cleaning check with your veterinarian. There are also anesthesia free options out there.
Dental health helps overall health so let's make it a great Dental February!

Howl-oween is fast approaching!
Join us Saturday October 25th for our 6th annual Howl-oween event.
From 11:00-3:00 we’ll have our pet costume contest taking place and we’ll have lots of other fun things going on—a bouncy castle, face painting, pumpkin painting kits, and yummy food trucks!
We’ll be handing out some goodies for your pups and kitties, and we’ll have great prizes for the winners in our contest!
