Staff introductions!
Farhad is our current luthier apprentice working hard on setting up rental instruments, customer repairs, and educational program repairs. He started with us in January 2026 and has been progressing well! He is currently the TA for the Intro to Woodworking course at Red Rocks Community College.

Currently run by James Connell, a luthier with over 30 years of experience in the industry and owner of Sol Vista violins in Lafayette, Von's violins is a top location in Denver for fine stringed instrument restoration and purchase. Although you can catch Von and James at the shop, Derek McDonald is the head luthier with over ten years of experience in the industry, and excels at restoration and repair.
