❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 Cass will be permanently in the shop now. We’ve taken the makeshift memorial condensed them into a couple vintage soda crates showing notes, flowers, drawings and trinkets left behind by the community at the shop. It’s right behind the counter for y’all if you need a visit.

Shout out to my girlfriend Holli Turner for her upcycling skills in putting all this together with me. There was a lot of tears and loved poured into this for our friend and my employee.

RIP Cass. Hug your friends. Watch out for motorcycles. Don’t drink and drive.

❤️‍🩹💔Thank you to everyone who has flooded the inbox with messages, shown up to place flowers, and donated to the GoFundMe that was set up for her family. This is the community that Cass worked so hard to foster whether it was through working at multiple music venues, with local bands and brands, events/markets and my little vintage shop on Colfax. She made sure everyone was seen, they got a smile and a compliment, and they left with a tiny piece of her joy. As someone in my DMs put it, she was a unicorn.

I really hope to be able to reopen our doors this week, and when I do it will always be open for anyone that needs to be in a space we shared with her.

💔💔 My friend and beloved employee Cass was killed last night by a drunk driver while she was riding a motorcycle in Colorado Springs. I’m still numb. I talked with her mom several times throughout the night and she wanted me to share.

She was the tiniest little fireball of joy and happiness and made you feel nothing but love when you got in her bubble. It was impossible to not see her smile and smile yourself. I know my customers feel the same and the amount of messages and texts I’m getting is staggering.

We’re going to miss her so so much in the shop. When I have service details I will pass it on. The shop will remain closed as we navigate an issue with the state and now we mourn the loss of Cass. Unsure of when we can and will reopen.

Hug your friends. I don’t know how much more heartbreak I can handle, but nothing compares to a loss of a beloved friend in the small scene of Denver.

Such a beautiful soul taken. If you’re drinking call an Lyft or Uber. This is crushing. RIP.

🖕🧊 It shouldn’t comes as a surprise as to what my stance is on what is going on, but ultimately there is always a balance between running a small business and trying to keep politics out of selling tshirts and old s**t.

This moment in our country’s history is way more important than losing some followers or dollars. It’s about standing with our immigrant neighbors and the protestors out there on the streets battling everyday protecting them from some horrendous, inhumane treatment. It can’t be business as usual with this going on.

That being said we’re joining the boycott Friday and closing our doors for the day. It’s one of our busiest days but it’s the least we can do to stand in solidarity with everyone joining the shutdown.

If you want to shop the day before and the day after, we’ll have extended hours Thursday 12-8pm with an insane deal for the Bluebird District Sip & Shop event starting at 4pm and on Saturday we will have a special sale for y’all from 11-3pm (open till 6pm)…details to come on that.

Remember to vote if we’re allowed to anymore.

🤘🖤💀🔥Oooooof 2025 has been a year, friends. Gonna focus on the good of it all.

You.

Checked my reports for the year and we had 8,172 transactions from 5,129 different customers. In those crazy numbers we sold just over 4,000
TSHIRTS alone excluding any and all the media, other clothes and trinkets. That’s a lot of f’ing tshirts.

I can’t thank you all enough for supporting the shop year. I’ve got to see my daughters grow up way too fast and steal all sorts of stuff from the racks, picked up a super supportive, cute as hell girlfriend down the block I love, and been able to call a lot of you friends now. Shout to and all of his cat shirts and bolos for the help running the shop this year, my rad vendors old and new, and all the other vintage shops across town for the love.

Here’s to another year full of old s**t.

🔥🐑🐑🐑🔥 There are vintage tshirts, then there are shirts that are just punk history woven in thread and doused with ink. This single stitch shirt is one of the first to exist by Minor Threat featuring the iconic photo from 1983 of the band on the steps of the Dischord house. The Salad Days photo gets recreated time and time again until this day. So many boots get made, but this original was found in a pile of stinky tees from off a punk rock collection of an old punker from the Philly hardcore seen who passed. I worked with his mom to secure the collection after his hardcore buds took some memories. Game worn but in fantastic shape for being over 40 years old (like yours truly).

My favorite tshirt find and probably won’t ever see it again in the flesh.

I stand at a crossroads of wanting to keep this shirt forever, lose 30 pounds and rock the s**t out of it or move it on. It looks beautiful on my wall at home, so unless someone out there is hard up to find this piece of punk history it’ll probably stay there forever. Price tag isn’t for the faint of heart.

I always had Minor Threat on heavy rotation through high school in the 90s, and play them in the shop nearly daily. They’re on most punk/hardcore Mount Rushmore lists always and forever.

Ok back to staring at it.

💀🔥🙏 HOLY SCHNIKES WE MADE IT TWO YEARS!!

Come party with us this Black Friday to help celebrate two years of existence! It hasn’t been easy. We’ve battled construction, expansion, and even defecation to get to this point and we couldn’t have done it without you all!
