Our Staff Pick of the week at Little Blue Pigeon is…

We Burned so Bright by TJ Klune ✨

This novella follows a q***r elderly couple on an end-of-the-world road trip as they fulfill a promise they made in the past. Along the way, they meet others who are handling the end of the world in their own ways, teaching them more about life and reflecting on their own relationship.

It is a short yet impactful story, and we can’t wait for you to read it as well.

POV: Our social media manager went on vacation… so naturally, we decided to take matters into our own hands.

Was this a good idea? TBD.
Did we understand the assignment? Also TBD.
Did we have fun? Absolutely.

Please enjoy the chaos while our social media manager is living her best life.

She’ll be back soon to clean this up.

SIX MONTHS OF LITTLE BLUE PIGEON BOOKS. 💙

It’s hard to believe that six months ago today, we opened our doors on Larimer Square and invited Denver to come rescue some books with us.

And WOW, have you rescued some books.

For six months, you’ve filled this little blue bookstore with book clubs, events, laughter, new friendships, incredible authors and SO many books finding their people.

Every visit.
Every book.
Every recommendation.
Every event.
Every time you’ve told a friend about us—it has mattered.

Thank you for giving our little bookstore the most incredible first six months. We’re just getting started. 💙

The moment you walk into a bookstore…

Something shifts. The noise quiets. The colors get a little brighter. The rest of your to-do list starts to feel very far away and very unimportant.

A good bookstore has a way of doing that: making the world feel a little more alive the second you step inside.

Come find your color at Little Blue Pigeon on Larimer Square 💙

Our first month open was incredible - between meeting so many of you at our events, getting local authors on our shelves, and crossing paths with everyone who dropped in from out of town. Our community is truly so special 💙

We have another full month of events coming up at Little Blue Pigeon - author conversations, book clubs, story hours, brunch, the list goes on. Gatherings that are meant to spark connection. Moments that turn strangers into neighbors.

Community is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re so grateful for all those who have gathered around us in just this short period of time.

Events are this month are a mix of free and ticketed, but reserving a ticket for free events helps us plan and create the best possible experience for everyone attending.

🎟️ Visit the ticket link in our bio to save your spots and see everything happening in May.
