The Itty Bitty T***y Committee t-shirt made it’s way across Europe and from Los Angeles to New York. I’m so grateful for being able to start this community. As the great Ilana Glazer said, “I put my blood, sweat and farts into this company.”
This community was so bright for me, it helped me heal through humor and feminism. It was a beautiful thing seeing women of all backgrounds rally together and wear this t-shirt as a funny and sweet protest to the truly ugly things we deal with on a daily basis.
It was wonderful being a guide to body gratitude and sharing my own personal story.
I knew I had to wait until it felt right, and today it feels right.
I am officially passing the torch.
The committee is just about 3 years old and I’ve come to the difficult decision to end this project. I am on to new and exciting things and have a few project ideas up my sleeve. Don’t worry, I’ll always be in the business of empowerment in one way or another.
