Researchers trained computer models on performances by 20 legendary jazz pianists, and one of them was able to identify the performer more often than you might think.

John Cage’s “ORGAN²/ASLSP (As SLow aS Possible)” is taking the idea of a long performance to a new level.

The piece is being performed over 639 years in Halberstadt, Germany, and recently reached just its 17th chord change since the performance began in 2001. It isn’t scheduled to end until 2640.

More than a century after it was built in Berlin, this 1916 C. Bechstein Model C has been fully restored and given a new life.

The comprehensive restoration included a new pinblock, tuning pins, strings, hammers, and dampers, while the cabinet and plate were refinished to bring back the piano’s original presence. At 7'4", it has the size and visual presence to become a centerpiece in a dedicated music room or larger space.

There’s an interesting bit of piano history behind this pre-owned artist grand. Its scale was designed by Joseph Pramberger, who spent nearly 30 years at Steinway & Sons before partnering with Young Chang to develop a new lineup of pianos.

Built in South Korea in 2004, this Pramberger JP-208 measures a substantial 6'10" and features a polished ebony cabinet accented with Bubinga trim.

There’s a beautiful new addition to the stage at Maurice Unis Concert Hall! Artist Crisanta Baker recently finished this hand-painted mural, adding even more personality to a space that already means so much to us.

Crisanta has painted other murals throughout our Denver showroom, and we love seeing her work become part of the building's character.

We’re especially excited to see this one behind the musicians, teachers, students, and performers who take the stage here.

A first look at something new from Yamaha.
