A backpacking trip can easily be ruined by not having the right pack. Montbell makes ultralight, low volume packs, but we don't necessarily recommend those options for multi-day trips into the backcountry. For multi-day trips, we recommend more durable options with more padding in the shoulder straps, backpad and hip belts to help carry your load more comfortably. The original Storm Cruiser was born way back in 1982. And while we've kept the name all these years later, we've never stopped innovating with our flagship rain jacket. Ten generations later, we've updated the Storm Cruiser with our proprietary waterproof breathable membrane.

Among the waterproof breathable materials we use at Montbell, the Storm Cruiser utilizes our most breathable and water resistant. Protecting against wind and rain from the outside, it efficiently releases excess heat and moisture during activity, keeping the inside of the garment comfortable.

Reborn to be more breathable and flexible. Redesigned with ease of movement and comfort at the forefront. Rebalanced to reduce weight without sacrificing features. At Montbell, we don't refer to our rain shells as "rain shells." We've always used the term "all-weather." The Storm Cruiser is the perfect example of this concept, performing exceptionally in all types of weather.

Maybe it's a sudden spring shower, or just the sweat you generated while reaching your destination.
