We’re brewing up a custom house blend (see what we did there?), complete with its own lore, a little interdimensional weirdness, and a partner we’re very excited to introduce soon.

Want to help us bring it into this dimension? Our Kickstarter is in its final days. Link in bio. 👀

Writers, this Kickstarter add-on is for you. 🖤

Literary agent Elizabeth Copps of Confluence Literary Agency has represented some of the biggest names in horror. If you’re looking for expert eyes on your novel, she’s the person you want reading it.

Her developmental review includes a detailed editorial letter and an annotated manuscript, with thoughtful feedback on plot, pacing, character, voice, and what’s already working, plus clear guidance for revision.

The package is valued at over $2,000 and available as an $850 add-on to our Broom Book & Candle Kickstarter. You can choose even the lowest reward tier and add it to your pledge.

Only 11 days left to get this one. Visit our kickstarter at link in bio or https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/broombookcandle/broom-book-and-candle/

Denver has bookstores. It has coffee shops. It has bars.

What it doesn’t have is a permanent home for horror writers, fans, and those who love the macabre, the gothic, the terrifying, and the uncanny.

Broom Book & Candle will be a bookstore, café, b**r and w**e bar, and gathering place for readers and writers who find solace in unsettling stories. It will be a place to connect with other horror lovers, discover dark literature, hear from favorite authors, and meet the incredible writers working right here in our community.

Come escape after a long day, surround yourself with the smell of books, and enjoy a strong latte, fragrant tea, or glass of w**e. Find witchy, gothic, and slasher-inspired books, gifts, and oddities.

There will be something for younger readers, too, with story times and a “Books Are Magic” children’s area designed to spark imagination and nurture an early love of wonderfully strange stories.

We have the space and the plan. Now we need a little lightning from you. ⚡️

Help us raise this strange, wonderful place from the slab. Become a founding backer through the Kickstarter link in our bio.
