Between summer & fall lies September.

We’ve always considered September the sweet spot between two of our favorite seasons. The last few months have energized us with sunshine, saturated color, and the unabashed abundance of summer. And then, almost overnight, we’re ready to trade it all in for something moodier, softer, deeper, and a little more dramatic.

Christian and Will’s wedding at denverbotanicgardens is the perfect example of two seasons dancing harmoniously together.

A still-lush late-summer landscape meets early-fall hues and patterns. Candlelight, naturally, makes an appearance because what is an autumn soirée without it? Add the final treasures of local flower season, a gorgeously layered place setting, and details that feel plucked straight from the forest floor, and suddenly you’ve captured that very particular feeling that arrives with the “ber” months.

How we’ve left August.

We’re dancing our way into fall and September, but not without one last, slightly reluctant goodbye to summer.

Our time with Banks & Leaf was one of the many highlights that made this wedding season feel extra special. Emily and Tim embraced the mountain views at Devil's Thumb Ranch Weddings with a ceremony design that felt less like we placed something there and more like it had always belonged.

Wildflowers in radiant, unapologetic hues shot straight up from the ground, creating a look that was fun, flirty, and wonderfully natural all at once. l

Now, the team may be knee-deep in fall stems and autumn palettes, but we’re not quite ready to let these colors go. So, consider this our love letter to our summer weddings and a reminder to our brides this year that we’d happily do it all over again. 🌸

Are you a future fall bride? Which trends are you leaning into?

Fall is near, and our wedding forecast is officially here! 🍂

We’re looking at what’s been popping up on our screens, inspiring our studio, and most importantly, showing up in conversations with our autumn brides.

For 2026, fall weddings are leaning into a dark romance, deeply saturated palettes, and texture in every direction. Warm tones will always have their moment, but this season we’re seeing a richer point of view: chocolate browns, cherry reds, and hues that feel straight from the Phantom of the Opera.

Florals are getting heavier, too. Abundant texture, unexpected mechanics, and even full-on dried stems for a look that feels a little wild and a little undone.

And then there’s the other end of the spectrum: brides looking beyond flowers entirely. Dramatic drapery. Layered landscapes. And, for the boldest among us, an all-candle moment that lets the light do the talking.

All of that to say, fall weddings are feeling moodier, richer, and decidedly more dramatic this season, and we’re very much here for it.

The summer event we won’t forget. 🍸

Autumn may be on the horizon, and our team may be slowly trading summer stems for fall palettes, but we’re not quite ready to let go.

This one with for continues to live rent-free in our minds. It’s the kind of design that makes you feel that first day of summer excitement over and over again.

The inspiration? European alpine charm with a decidedly East Coast summer attitude. Add an abundance of florals, decadent seafood, caviar, and bubbly spritzes, and suddenly you have the kind of party that sets a new standard for a summer gathering.

Firm believers that things should look just as beautiful by day as they do by night.

As florists, we’re usually gone before most wedding guests arrive. We get to witness our work in the daylight, flowers dappled in sunshine, colors in full view. But there’s something entirely different about seeing it again through the lens of the moonlight.

Our designs take on a new form by candlelight. Colors deepen, palettes shift. Some textures come alive while others fade into the background.

It’s a reminder that flowers, like everything else in a wedding, are meant to be experienced, not just seen. They unfold like a story.

And we’re endlessly grateful to the photographers who capture those in-between moments and let us see our work in an entirely new way. This is an appreciation post to you.

A slice of this again, please. 🍰

If there’s one wedding this season that perfectly encapsulates where the wedding world is headed, it’s this one.

There’s no denying the shift toward color over the past few years, but certain palettes have a way of sticking. Burgundy and chartreuse have officially made their way to the top of the 2026 color watchlist. So how do we make a palette so popular stand out?

Let the details do the talking. Pattern play. Green velvet. Chinoiserie-inspired plates. Pleated candlelight. A palette becomes something entirely different when texture enters the conversation.

And then, the flowers. Cymbidiums and foxglove nestled among airy asparagus fern and sculptural bells of Ireland. An all-star cast of stems, each bringing its own movement and moment to the experience.

Nothing quite as peaceful. Or as magical.

There’s a particular quiet that settles in when we arrive at a wedding tucked deep into the Rockies. Just us, our team, and an abundance of flowers in hand, ready to be placed, ready to meet the bride, and ready to become part of the most important day of someone’s life.

This wedding didn’t need to speak loudly. Its beauty lived in the subtleties. Delicate movement, softened pastel hues, and an almost weightless sense of romance that you could only find through the calmness of the mountains.

We’re so proud of this cabin stunner, and if we could choose a late-summer setting to live in, it’s this one.

Mountainweddingaholics. ⛰️

Back from with our hearts very, very full.

Wedding trends will come and go, but a ceremony framed by a mountain view? That will never go out of style.

We feel endlessly lucky to create in the landscapes we call home and even luckier when they become part of our couple’s story. When nature is the starting point, the flowers should never compete with it. They should enhance it. Every stem is chosen with intention and placed to feel effortless, as though it might have grown there naturally.

The goal? Not to outshine the view, but to make the view feel even more magical.

And, as always, none of it happens without our all-star team. Through rain, shine, and everything in between, we make it happen.
